I watched "Hitman" last night (DVD and Blu-ray March 11, 2008). Now usually I am not a fan of movies based on video games (I got burned one too many times by the genre - thank you "Doom"!), but this one was actually pretty good, mostly because Olga Kurylenko spends a bunch of it walking around in lingerie, or wearing nothing at all. Now I am not saying that a little gratuitous nudity can make a movie, but a little gratuitous nudie can make a movie.
From what I understand, Olga Kurylenko is trying to make the jump over to main-stream American cinema and this was to be her breakout roll. For her upcoming project "The Lingerie Lady" she will be changing her name to Jan Smitherman. The story is about some lady who gets locked out of her apartment and spends 90 minutes crawling around in her lingerie looking for her spare key. Not Oscar winning stuff, but I will be first in line for tickets. I'll be the guy with the 80oz soda and the over-sized trench coat. I suggest you don't sit next to me.
