I always like to see famous people giving a little back to the society that made them rich and famous. In a totally made up story, Tyra Banks announced that she would be launching a new line of high fashion evening wear for Ninja (as pictured above $39.99, mask and hood sold separately). Expect to see Tyra Banks “Razor’s Edge” line in Walmart and other high fashion boutiques this fall.
Ok, this may not be a story about saving dolphins or little children, but even ninja need a little bit of fashion help now and again. They have been wearing the same outfits for about 400 years now. Tyra Banks is going to add some spice to the sword slice – and these pictures are going to make me unsheathe my Ninjato!In the Japanese culture, Ninja were usually trained for dangerous missions. Their exact origins are still unknown. Their roles may have included sabotage, espionage, scouting and assassination missions as a way to destabilize and cause social chaos in enemy territory or against an opposing ruler, perhaps in the service of their feudal rulers (daimyo, shogun), or an underground ninja organization waging guerilla warfare.
