It's that time of year again. When competitors from around the world, possibly even around the Universe, gather together to decide which alien is the hottest female around. This year, just as in years past, all the competitors were from earth.
This year, the Miss Universe 2009 competition in being held in Nassau, Bahamas. Contestants from 84 countries will compete for the coveted crown on August 23. That's right, over 3 weeks of tough competition for these ladies - including the swimsuit round, the "National Costume" round, and the grueling "Stand Still and Smile" round. I sure hope we can avoid the 4 foot-blister tragedy of last years competition!!!
