Plans for Victoria Beckham to launch a men's line for her dVb label have been shelved.
The former Spice Girl, who was to introduce the men's line this fall, has abandoned the project for now due to a lack of interest from boutiques, reports FemaleFirst. Beckham expected to launch her men's line next fall, and planed to solicit her husband, David Beckham, to pose for her an advertising campaign.
The news comes just two months after the American stores Kitson and Fred Segal announced that they will no longer carry the dVb line because of low sales. - lifestyle.sympatico.msn.ca
I don't know about you, but this news was shocking to me. It seems to me that if Victoria Beckham knows 2 things (and yes, that is a stretch) it would be:
a. Fashion, and
b. what men want.
Personally I love a woman that is ½ plastic and has enough sharp corners that I can dice a carrot on her shoulder blades. As a matter of fact, I am planning to launch my Victoria Beckham inspired doll line this fall made entirely of Play-doh and razor blades. Place your orders soon because the bad-boys are bound to sell out fast. Oh wait, I just found out that the FDA is revoking my manufacturers licence – seems the inspector cut his penis off playing with the prototype.
