Even as questions arose Monday about the California Highway Patrol's handling of Heather Locklear's arrest on impaired driving charges, friends and associates of the actress expressed concerns about her psychological well-being and heavy use of anti-anxiety drugs.
According to a Locklear pal, ''Heather takes drugs like Xanax by the carload.'' The friend hopes this most recent incident ''will lead her to get off the pills and really get back on track.''
Now I am not trying to say that Heather Locklear is on smack, I am just saying that Heather Locklear has been arrested on suspicion of being on smack. Now, do I really care? Well, no. Seems to me that a severe smack addiction could lead to some bad career choices and probably some desperation nudity. I mean, look what happened to Farah Fawcett!!
