Maggie Q is really busting out this year. Mission Impossible 3, Die Hard 4 and then a comedy role in Balls of Fury (now available on DVD!). Great on screen presence and pretty wicked Kung Fu skills, she is sure to find work for years to come. Maggie Q is of Polish, Irish and Vietnamese decent, so if she can't find work in Hollywood, I bet she could make a killing selling soup!
Maggie Q is actually Maggie Quigley - now, I'm not saying she changed her name so that she could land niche roles that call for an Asian, but she changed her name so that she could get niche roles that call for an Asian. I guess she might have dropped Quigley to not be associated with the Tom Selleck classic "Quigley Down Under" - but I am pretty sure only me and my Mom saw that movie.
